I Heart Faces: Soft and Sweet

I think my little one woke up when I sneaked in to check on him during his nap today.  I saw eyes for just a second.  But for whatever reason, he closed his little eyes again, and then slept (or pretended to) while I snapped away at him.  He is incredibly stubborn about being subjected to my camera when he is awake, but he looks like a perfect angel while he's sleeping.

My sweet little nephew at two weeks old.  It is always adorable when babies hold your finger.  My kids are smitten with him because they are so sure it means he likes them.  I love it.  But looking at this picture always makes me think of my good brother and his perfect wife.  This little guy is definitely in good hands.

This is my two-year-old's face when he is sassing me.  Someday I'm sure I'll appreciate all of that "spunk" when he's old enough to use it on someone else.  For now, Mommy is usually the lucky recipient.
